Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Grant to Help Libby Residents

Libby, Montana has had its share of problems over the years. The entire town was exposed to asbestos during the time that WR Grace operated a vermiculite mine. Since then, thousands of residents have fallen ill from asbestos.

Now, the town is getting grants that will help. WR Grace has donated a quarter of a million dollars toward healthcare in the area. Another $6 million will come from the Department of Health and Human Services for the same purpose.
