Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

EPA Takes Soil Samples for Asbestos

Earlier this week, EPA workers took 30 soil samples from a woman’s lawn in Spokane, Washington. The EPA is checking for asbestos in the soil that may be left over from an asbestos insulation factory that was once operated there.

Similar samples were taken in 2000 and 2001, but testing has come a long way since then. Now the EPA is trying to make sure the the operators of the factory, the same company that operated an asbestos mine in Montana, did not expose the residents of Spokane to deadly asbestos.
