Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Shipyard Worker Sues BAE Systems

BAE Land Systems is a global defense, security and aerospace company that, among other things, manufactures submarines. The company has several locations at least one of which, the Barrow location, has been around for the last 130 years.

A former employee of BAE Systems’ Barrow Shipyard was diagnosed with mesothelioma in January 2008. He worked in the machine and engine shops which were lined with asbestos. He also encountered the substance in his day to day work. Because of this, he has recently brought a claim against the company.
