Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Continuing Asbestos Removal for Elementary School

An elementary school in San Angelo, Texas has been undergoing asbestos abatement for a renovation project since June when school let out. Now, officials are saying that the project will continue through the school year and will likely not be complete until August of 2010.

The students at Santa Rita Elementary School will be shuffled around different classrooms throughout the school year as asbestos abatement and renovations take place. The project will take place in sections of the school, allowing students to attend class without being in danger of asbestos exposure, which can lead to the lung disease mesothelioma.
