Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Sewage plant discovers asbestos in pipes

A New York sewage plant was working on preparing a new site and discovered asbestos in cement pipes.

The pipe must be removed before anything else can be done with preparing the site. The removal of asbestos must be done by special crews who are licensed professionals and can handle the asbestos appropriately and insure the safety of the workers and the general public.

Asbestos exposure can lead to lung cancer, such as mesthelioma, a rare form of cancer that is very aggressive and can take years to see symptoms.
