Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Railroad worker files asbestos exposure suit

A former Illinois railroad worker sues the Central Railroad Company, claiming he was diagnosed with asbestos-related disease because of his work for the railroad.

The man worked for the railroad company from 1952 to 1995 as a fireman and an engineer. While working at the railroads, shops and roundhouses the man was exposed to asbestos fibers or dust. The man was then diagnosed with an asbestos-related disease and claims to suffer great pain and mental anguish. He also fears that he will contract mesothelioma, a rare form of lung cancer that is associated with asbestos exposure.
