Twenty-five defendants named in asbestos suit

The administrator of a man’s estate has filed an asbestos suit claiming that the man’s death from an asbestos-related disease was wrongfully caused.

The lawsuit was filed in the Jefferson County District Court and named 25 defendants. The administrator is claiming that the man developed the disease after he worked closely with asbestos-containing products in his career as an insulator, operator and laborer.

The suit claims that the defendants in the case failed to properly test their products and failed to adequately warn the man of the health risks associated with dealing with asbestos. In addition, the suit claims that the man was not given a safe place to work and there was poor ventilation in the areas that the he worked.
