Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Man files asbestos suit in Illinois

A man and his wife recently filed an asbestos suit in St. Clair County Court in Illinois claiming that he diagnosed mesothelioma from being exposed to asbestos at work. This was the fourteenth asbestos-related suit filed in this court this year.

The suit claims that 45 defendant companies failed to adequately protect their employees and their employee’s families from asbestos. Exposure to asbestos is the primary cause for developing mesothelioma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The man worked as a training electrician’s mate for the U.S. Navy along with working as a boiler, furnace maker and home remodeler for various other companies.
