Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Apartment building owner pleads guilty to asbestos charges

The owner of an apartment complex in Boston has plead guilty to improperly removing and disposing of asbestos. The man also plead guilty to evading unemployment insurance payments and failing to provide payment records.

The real estate development and property management companies along with their president were sentenced to probation as a result of the charges. The president claims that his crews did not mean to dispose of the materials.

The man gave the instructions to perform a demolition on the building and told them that the building did contain asbestos particles. The places that the waste products were disposed did not have the right permits for that to be done to. The government regulates how asbestos is handled and removed because inhaling it can cause serious health issues.
