Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Woman seeks compensation after death of husband from mesothelioma

A widow is seeking compensation after her husband’s death claiming that the company he worked for was negligent in protecting the man from asbestos fibers which caused him to develop the rare lung disorder.

The man worked at Pleasure Beach from 1989 to 2000 when he began to develop a cough in 2008. It was in 2010 that he went to the doctor and was told that he had mesothelioma and that there was no cure for the disease.

The lawsuit that was filed claims that the man was only provided with paper masks when working with asbestos and the company did not provide proper washing facilities for employees.
