Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Clair County: More asbestos lawsuits filed

Three new asbestos lawsuits have been filed in the St. Clair County Circuit Court by three couples that each name over 60 defendants in their cases.

The first couple states that the defendants allowed him to be exposed to asbestos-containing products and that he developed lung cancer as a result of this. The man worked as a deckhand in the U.S. Navy and on the U.S.S. Demoise at the Great Lakes Naval Station. He also worked as a laborer, roofer and pattern maker.

The second couple claims that the husband developed lung cancer from working as a military police man and mechanic from 1961 until 1964. He also worked on the assembly line for Ford Motor Co. and was a dock worker for the Pacific Intermountain Express.  The last couple has similar complaints about why the husband developed lung cancer after working as a welder at American Motors and a caretaker for Radar Base.
