Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Dangerous asbestos discovered in many UK dorms

According to a report by The Guardian, a large number of university dormitories in the U.K. dangerously expose their students to asbestos. An estimated 17,000 students are being threatened by potential asbestos exposure, which can cause Mesothelioma.

The Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL), which was deeply alarmed by the situation, has called on the government to conduct a nationwide audit of all existing school dorms with asbestos materials in floors, insulation, and ceilings for its immediate removal.

Based on the results of a questionnaire given by The Guardian to 88 universities, 38 allowed students to be in rooms with asbestos. The University of Warwick topped the schools with the highest number of rooms with asbestos.
