Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Union officials concerned about Capitol Hill asbestos exposure

Union officials and staff who worked at the House side of the Capitol Hill are concerned about possible asbestos inhalation when the mineral was released into the air last July, Roll Call reported on September 15.

Union leaders reportedly requested the Office of Compliance (OC) to inspect the July 10 asbestos scare incident for possible OSHA violations. According to reports, debris including asbestos fibers contaminated the air several hours before the majority of the workers were notified. The hazardous mineral was released while workers removed asbestos-laden insulation in one of the buildings.

Workers may unfortunately suffer fatal respiratory illnesses after being exposed to asbestos minerals. If you suspect that irresponsible companies and individuals caused your exposure and subsequently, your illness, a lawyer may work for you.
