Mesothelioma or Asbestos Question?

Seventy-three companies named in asbestos suit

Seventy-three companies have been named in an asbestos lawsuit after a man claims that he developed mesothelioma after working as an insulator throughout his career and being exposed to asbestos or asbestos-laden materials.

According to the lawsuit, the man claims that the defendants negligence caused him to develop mesothelioma. The lawsuit was filed in January and the family is looking to collect damages at this time.

The company stated that the defendants were negligent for having contaminated buildings, conspiracy, intentional tort, misrepresentation, and strict liability.

Five Plaintiffs Name 84 Companies in Asbestos Lawsuit

Five plaintiffs have named a total of 84 companies as defendants in a Texas asbestos exposure lawsuit.  The plaintiffs allege that either they or a recently deceased relative contracted mesothelioma or other asbestos-related illnesses as a result of exposure to the substance caused by the companies.  The five people or their deceased relatives worked in refineries and chemical plants throughout Texas.

According to the suit, the companies failed to provide a safe work environment, thereby putting the plaintiffs or their relatives at an increased risk for illness.
